Hong Kong: To celebrate the new year of 2008, on 31 December 2007, A Symphony of Lights added with pyrotechnic fireworks on the rooftop of participating buildings of both sides of the habour on the new year’s eve of 2007. This special show begins at 23:43. At the last 20 seconds before entering the year of 2008 (23:59:40), Two International Finance Centre will start to fire pyrotechnic fireworks from the outer walls which face to the Victoria Harbour. At the moment of year 2008 comes (24:00:00), 16 of the participating buildings of both sides of the habour will also have themed pyrotechnic show with Two International Finance Centre for 2 minutes to celebrate the new year arrives.

Firstly, I’d like to commend your beautiful photos posted here! I will be visiting Hong Kong on 31-Dec-09 and was wondering if the Symphony of Lights will be on 8pm or delayed to 12midnight to coincide with fireworks.
